...i am looking for information on the hound's
tooth pineapple type knot:
...does anyone know how to make this knot?!...and
maybe a longer version??!...

Hi Dan
Just stumbled across a knot similar to this one when trying to work out another knot. I am in the middle of working out the instruction for it at the moment and will let you know of the out come . Similar knot can be done tying a 12 part 8 bight using 2 strands . It is a bit hard to make out the sequence that is used by looking at the image you supplied.

...i'd sure like to see what you come up with!....in the meantime i found these instructions for the Hound's Tooth pineapple type knot:

hello folks...
....the hound's tooth pineapple type knot is to match the hound's tooth weave our knot club has been using to make dog leads:

....the pineapple knot weave uses the pineapple knot to cover the ends....these instructions are in most books....
....the barber pole weave needs the barber pole type knot which is in Round Knots and Braids by Ron Edwards....
....we've been making them with plastic lace...someday we'll be
making them in leather....folks really like these dog leads...
